WELCOME TO BETHLEHEM BAPTIST CHURCH
ONE CHURCH - TWO GREAT CONGREGATIONS - UNIFIED IN CHRIST
Freedom Celebration - June 28
Celebrating Our Freedom from Tyranny and Our Freedom in Christ
Bethlehem Baptist celebrated our nation's birthday and our corresonding freedoms, as well as worshiped our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Sunday, June 28 at 5:00. There were plenty of children who enjoyed a variety of activities to include inflatables, contests, fun-n-games. At 6:00 the"Connection's" praise and worship band presented spirit-filled music in tribute of our freedoms and blessings from God. Food, fellowship, and icecream followed with good ole American hamburgers and hotdogs available for everyone. Around 7:00 the BBC Singers presented Gaither-style down home gospel music followed by a message from Bro. Andy Bryan. Bethlehem Baptist has a rich tradition of honoring our nations' birthday. Our freedoms in the country are not taken for granted. Tribute is due those who made us free, and honor is given to God for blessing America so richly. We are delighted for those who came to join us and make this Freedom Celebration a great family time, a awesome worship time, and a great fellowship time. For those of you who missed it, please join us next year (and next Sunday). [Check out the pictures of June 28 in the Photos Section.] May God bless America and your family as well.
The mission statement for Bethlehem Baptist Church states that we are to be a star in light reflecting the gospel of Jesus Christ with the good news of salvation and to embrace believers in a meaningful church relationship that is inclusive of our community and others around the world. To that end we use the resources God gives us (to include this website) to lift up the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to a world hungry for the good news and to minister to a local body of believers.
