Matthew 5:43-45 - “[Love for Enemies] "You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.” Brought to you by BibleGateway.com. Copyright (C) NIV. All Rights Reserved.
WELCOME TO BETHLEHEM BAPTIST CHURCH
ONE CHURCH - TWO GREAT CONGREGATIONS - UNIFIED IN CHRIST
CHALLENGE TO BUILD
Bethlehem Baptist is entering into the next level of ministry by entering into a building contract to renovate the Educational Wing of our church. This will be a welcome addition in that all classes can be under one roof; the classrooms and space will be updated to today's standards and capabilities; and as a church, we will be in a better position to effectively conduct even greater ministry (such as a CDC possibly). All interested parties are encouraged to stay tune to the Star found on this website, as well as worship services to learn of the progress of this ministry project. Meetings are taking place, and decisions are being made to help make this ministry all that God wants it to be. Newsletters and other pertinent information will be mailed out beginning in February to further inform members about the Challenge to Build. Culminating this initial aspect of the ministry project will be a church-wide banquet occurring Sunday night, Feb. 28.
GPS
God's Plan for Sharing is a Southern Baptist strategy for reaching every home and every person in our church community, Henry County, and the world. GPS involves Baptist churches in our area working together to reach every one in every house before Resurrection Sunday. There will people invovled with Prayer Walking, door-to-door witnessing/ministry, and handing out tracs and Christian literature. After Resurrection Sunday there will be follow-up to assimilate the non-churched and visitors who attended Resurrection services.
